Barbara Jean (Gordon) Schlosser

Barbara Jean (Gordon) Schlosser age 87, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2011 in Tucson, AZ. Barb was born March 15, 1924 in Whitewright, TX, to Janice and Horace Gordon. She grew up both there and Chickasha, OK, and attended Texas State College for Women in Denton, TX. She married Ray Schlosser on October 2, l942. After WWII, they settled in Minneapolis, MN where they lived for more than four decades and raised their three daughters. Retirement would bring them to Rogers, AR. She loved the community. Days were filled with volunteer work at the church and hospital, girlfriends and bridge. Final years in Tucson were full of family and love. Barb was Accepting, Satisfied and Grateful...and most of all loved babies. She would want to give thanks and love to many, but especially her bridge-playing friends-- along with the caring staff at The Gardens. Barb was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, and survived by her daughters, Linda (John) Noble of Wayzata, MN, Nancy (Eric) Brown of Tucson, AZ and Teresa (Jay) Jones-Holmes of Rochester, NY; grandchildren, Melissa Richie of Boynton Beach, FL, Michael and Matthew (Amanda) Brown of Tucson, AZ; three great- grandchildren; and honorary sons, Michael Welch and Jack Brunton of Tucson, AZ. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Wednesday, April 27, 2011, 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Tucson, AZ. Burial will be in the Fort Snelling National Cemetery, MN on July 5. 2011. Bobby G. Tite

Bobby G. Tite 12/2/1936 - 4/22/2011 Janet L. Tite 6/5/1938 - 12/1/2009 Bobby passed away peacefully in his sleep, April 22, 2011. He was born December 2, 1936 in Eagle Creek, IL. He married Janet L. Smith in 1954. She passed away December 1, 2009. Bobby is now by her side in heaven as they were in life. Together they owned Bobby Tite Masonry, Inc. and Bobby Tite Gen. Cont., Inc. for 36 years. Bobby is survived by his daughter, Patricia and son-in-law, Richard Hounshell; grandsons, Richard and Robert Hounshell; and his sisters, Betty Holland, Kay Pollard, Marsha Tassinari and Nancy Shaw. We will all miss Bobby's quick wit, sense of humor and his love. He loved Jesus, reading his Bible, going out to eat and being with his family and friends. Bobby was a very happy person who was a member of Masonic Lodge #56, Lions Club and very active in the New Testament Church in Tucson, AZ. Viewing will be Thursday, April 28, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway. Burial will be at Rose Lawn Memory Garden in Bethalto, IL. Together again, forever. Charles H. "Chuck" Cohen

Charles "Chuck" H. Cohen Cherished husband, father, and friend, passed away on April 22, 2011. He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Hayden and Dorothy Cohen. Chuck leaves behind a family who will forever be grateful for the gift of his life and unwavering love. Chuck is survived by his beloved Sandy Cohen; cherished children, Heidi Cohen (Frank Corrales), David Cohen and Jeff Baron (Traci Sym); as well as his precious grandchildren, Andrea Cohen, Bianca Cohen, Vera Baron and Miles Baron. He is also survived by his devoted sister and brother-in-law, Marylin and Sid Eisenfeld and their children and grandchildren. Our family is forever grateful to Frank Corrales for his organ donation that extended our time with Chuck for an additional five years. Chuck was an avid Steeler fan, his hometown team and loved the team as much as the place. Chuck, known for his quick wit and humor, leaves his family and friends with a lifetime of wonderful and unique memories that will forever be cherished. He will be greatly missed by all, especially his puppies, Chloe and Mea. A Graveside Service will be held at East Lawn Palms Cemetery, 5801 E. Fred W. Kamrath*

Fred attended St. Paul's Lutheran Church and School and graduated from Orange Union High School. After serving in the Army, he returned home to assist his father in the custom citrus care business and to also start a wholesale egg and trucking business., In 1951, Fred married Vera and were soon blessed with three children. Their daughter, Corinne (Rick) Sellers; granddaughter, Chantel; daughter, Staci, who is in loving arms of the Lord; son, Craig (Liz), Joshua.

MOSE, Gertrude, 86, of Tucson, formerly of Chicago, passed away on April 23, 2011. Gert was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her devoted husband of 67 years, Robert; daughters, Ellyn (Jeffrey) Gold, Andi (Jay) Sanes, Geri (Lynden) Mahrt; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends. KIERSCH, Joseph Matthew, Jr., age 79, of Florence, Al, formally of Tucson, AZ passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2011. Joseph was preceded in death by his son, Jerome; daughter, Joanne; grandchild, Crystal and a sister, Lucille Schwager. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Jacqueline M. Kiersch; daughter, Jeannette Mabry; sister, Lois Rogers; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Mr. Kiersch was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and a member of I.B.E.W #570 in Tucson, AZ.
