Breeanna was a student at River Valley High School, involved in basketball and volleyball. She was preceded in death by her grandma, Sandy Andrews. Barbara Dobson Stine

Barbara Dobson Stine age 85, of Oro Valley, AZ passed away April 28, 2011 at St. Joseph's Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Warren B. Stine; Jeff, Suzy and Carolyn Burkes, Connie Bachman and Gerald, Jarett, Justin, Gene and Dennis Stine. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul A. Dobson and Ethel Molin Dobson. Barbara taught elementary school in California before retiring to Arizona. She was a member of the Art Club, Bridge Club, Golf Club, Women's Bible Club, Genealogy Club and the Library Club. She was also a member of the Canoga-Owensmouth Historical Society in Canoga Park, CA. She did volunteer work for Resurrection Lutheran Church and the Sun City Library in Oro Valley. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 6, 2011 at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 11575 N. 1st Avenue, Oro Valley, AZ 85737. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Okemah, OK. In lieu of flowers donations in Barbara's memory may be made to Resurrection Lutheran Church. GABRIELA C. “GABI” MONTIJO Gabriela Clarice “Gabi” Montijo, age 21, a 2-1/2 year resident of Bullhead City, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2011, in Bullhead City, Ariz. She was born January 31, 1990, in Needles, Calif. As a mother and homemaker, Gabi loved spending time with family and going to the river. She is preceded in death by grandmother, Vivian Kormes and great-grandparents, Raymond and Dorothy Kormes. Gabi is survived by her significant other, Pascual Barrios and daughter, Nallely Barrios, both of Bullhead City; her mother, Candace Harcourt of Mohave Valley; father, Rigo Montijo, of Mexico; two brothers, Nathan Andrews, Sr. and Erik Kormes of Mohave Valley; five sisters, Kristal Montijo, Candace Monijo, Veronica Montijo, all of Mohave Valley, Ariz., and Virginia Montijo and Viviana Montijo of Calif.; grandfather, Jim Harcourt; grandmother, Emilia Montijo; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 29, 2011, at 4:00 p.m. at the Fort Mohave Indian Tribe Gymnasium, 500 Merriman Avenue, Needles, Calif. Gary Morris

MORRIS, Garyof Gilbert died unexpectedly of coronary artery disease at the age of 56 on May 1, 2010. A Memorial service and burial took place at Queen of Heaven Mortuary in Mesa on May 6, 2010. He lived most of his life in Gilbert, Mesa, and Tempe. Gary was born in Brockton, MA, lived in Rockland, MA, and moved to Arizona in August 1961 at the age of eight with his family. He graduated from Moon Valley High School in northwest Phoenix in 1971 and moved to Tempe in 1972. Gary was close to his family all his life. With his parents Conrad C. Morris deceased September 29, 1993 and his mother, Mary, he co-owned and managed a Baskin-Robbins ice cream franchise at University Drive and Alma School Road in Mesa from 1973 to 1978. He was employed at the former Motorola Semiconductor Plant in Tempe as a manufacturing support technician from April 1976 to May 2001.Gary loved cars, boating on local Phoenix area lakes, vacations in San Diego, the Midwest, and Florida, and decorating and maintaining the home he had shared with his former wife, Carol Kemmer, and daughter, Lisa, in Gilbert. Joan D. Ramsey 81, of Tucson passed away peacefully on April 28, 2011. She is survived by Bob, her husband of 57 years; her son, Rick; daughters, Liz and Debbie; her grandchildren, Shelby, Cody, Rachel and Lindsey; brothers, Harold (Joan) and Robert (Libby), and many other family and friends. Joan was preceded in death by her brothers, Allan and Dave. Joan was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed. Joyce was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lloyd, "JR"; her parents, Vernon and Geneva Smith; brother, Larry. LARRY BYRON COTE, SR. Larry Byron Cote, Sr., age 57, a 14-year resident of Mohave Valley, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2011, in Mohave Valley, Ariz. He was born November 12, 1953, in Loma Linda, Calif. Larry served our country in the United States Army. He was an electrical contractor, and Owner of A&L Electric. He enjoyed four-wheel driving, ocean and fresh water fishing, sailing, and skeet shooting. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Robert Henry Cote, his mother, Florence LaVerne Cote, and his brother, Robert A. Cote. He is survived by his two sons, Larry Byron Cote, Jr. of Fort Mohave, and Adam Robert Cote of Bullhead City; sister, Wendy Nielson of Hemet, Calif.; two grandchildren, Seth Robert Cote and Wyatt Alan Cobb of Fort Mohave; daughters-in-law, Melissa Ann Cobb-Cote of Fort Mohave, and Reneé Lynn Cote of Bullhead City; and former wife, Sheri Jean Cote of Fort Mohave. Lester Munday

Lester Munday 90, native New Yorker, inveterate tinkerer, loving husband and father, a man of strength and kindness, passed away quietly in Phoenix, April 27, 2011 after brief illness. He was joyfully connoisseur of matzo brie; profound singer of Classics; and ballroom dancer with his love and wife of 62 years, Laura. After serving in WW II (Pacific), Lester sang as a member of The Metropolitan Opera. In 1961 the family ventured to Arizona, where Lester led a varied career before named bailiff of Arizona Superior Court by Judge Lillian Fisher (ret.) in 1974. There for 17 years, Lester also polished his character sketch drawing talents. As officer for Knights of Pythias of Arizona, member of Jewish War Veterans Post 201, and volunteer at Tucson VA Hospital, he served long and well. In final illness, he delighted in photos of his granddaughter's recent wedding in Chicago. He always had a Good Song in his heart. Lester is survived by wife, Laura; son, Michael (Michele), Tucson; daughter, Heather (Stanley) Rykowski, Phoenix and son, Kevin (Margaret), Tustin, CA; granddaughters, Shari (Marc) Schwartz, Phoenix and Suzanne (Daniel) Reicher, Chicago, IL; great-grandson, Zachary Schwartz; sister-in-law, Harriet Martin; and many good friends and family. Lois Nelson Ingham

Lois Nelson Ingham peacefully passed away April 28, 2011, at age 83, survived by her loving and nurturing husband of 64 years, Kenyon. Ken and Loie met at Rhodes High in Cleveland, Ohio, in the acapella choir, and soon discovered they shared a rare vocal blend that blossomed into a duet that blessed many for decades. They married in September of 1945 and cleaved to each other through life's challenges and blessings. Proud of her Norwegian heritage and upbringing, Lois, as an adult was transformed by God into a prayer warrior and mentor to many young women as they pursued faith and trust in Christ. Children include Howard (Sheila), Rex (Wendy), Raena (Scott) Liston, Darrell (Tammy), and Cheryl Ingham. Grandchildren are Jay (Renee) Ingham, Justin Liston, Chad (Tara) Ingham, Cerissa Liston, Kahla (Michael) Sanders, Emily (Kent) Willert, and Sarah Ingham. Memorial service is Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Grace to the Nations, 6180 E. Pima Street Tucson, AZ. Reception to follow. MILDRED J. BIGELOW Mildred J. Bigelow, age 81, a 19-year

MILDRED J. BIGELOW Mildred J. Bigelow, age 81, a 19-year resident of Bullhead City area, went home to be with the Lord Monday, April 18, 2011, in Las Vegas, Nev. Mildred was born July 19, 1929, in Covina, Calif. She received a B.A. degree in Social Sciences from California State University at San Jose, San Jose, Calif. and a Masters in Education from Whittier, Calif. She held teaching credential in General Elementary Education and Special Education and retired from teaching after 34 years. Her professional career also included three years as Director of Living Way Christian Academy in Pasadena, Calif. She enjoyed reading, traveling and writing. Golf was her chosen outdoor activity. She enjoyed long-standing membership in the Needles Ladies Golf Club and later in ladies clubs at Desert Lakes and El Rio. After retirement and until her passing Mildred published a bi-monthly inspirational paper Water Books, based on her personal devotions. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, Reason C. and Jane L. Bigelow of Fullerton, Calif.; her maternal grandmother, Delia Shaw; and three brothers, Frayne S. Bigelow, John A. Bigelow and Ralph E. Bigelow. Mildred is survived by her two nephews, Lars E. Bigelow of Fullerton, Calif., and Jon Alan Sattler of San Diego, Calif.; niece, Lisa J. Lavender of Manteca, Calif.; five grandnieces, Dr. Jamie D. Lavender, Elise Flores, Jenna Lavender, Jeida Lavender, and Shelby Rae Bigelow; two sisters-in-law, Gertrude Bigelow of Manteca, Calif., and Betty Bigelow Becker, of Folsom, Calif.; and her best friend, Betty Wiley of Fort Mohave. Oliver Mason Hopkins, Sr. 12/24/1922 - 4/28/2011 Oliver "Bob" Hopkins, 88 years old, passed away after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Mary Louise; his brother, James (Patricia) Hopkins; sister, Polly Ginapro and sister-in-law, Thelma Hopkins; loving children, Oliver M. (Mary Anne) Hopkins, Jr., Barbara Jean (Kenneth Clarke) Ball, Charles Wallace Hopkins and Joann Hopkins. Bob loved and was very proud of each and every one of his grandchildren: 11 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He will forever be a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend. We will miss him every day. Bob wanted everyone to know how much he loved his wife, Mary Louise and that he was honored to have served with the 101st Airborne Division in, . ROBERT MURL TAYLOR Robert Murl Taylor, age 57, passed away

ROBERT MURL TAYLOR Robert Murl Taylor, age 57, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2011, at the home of his parents, in Needles, Calif. He lived in Needles most of his life, but also lived briefly in McPherson, Kan. He was born February 23, 1954, in Needles. He attended school from Kindergarten through his Senior year, graduating in 1973 from Needles High School, and was confirmed in the Methodist Church in 1968. Murl was a brakeman on the Santa Fe Railroad for five years. He enjoyed living in the desert, hiking and climbing mountains. Murl loved spending time with his friends. One of his hobbies was Rock Art. He excelled in changing a black rock into a collectible work of art. Murl was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Loren Taylor. He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Taylor and her two children, Trista Rose and Gavin James Blackwell of Canton, Kan.; parents, J. Loren and Dora Taylor of Needles; brother, James J.W. (Tracy) Taylor of Agoura Hills, Calif.; sister, Mary Ann (Gregg) Hanna of McPherson, Kan.; two nieces, Grace (Sean) Sivley of Richardson, Texas and Tiffany Taylor of Agoura Hills, Calif.; two nephews, Robert G. (Joy) Burke of Groveland, Fla. and Derek J.L. Ruth L. Zornes 86, of Tucson. Born in Dexter, Iowa, May 21, 1924, passed away April 29, 2011. Preceded in death by her husband, Carlton G. Zornes, her parents, three brothers, three sisters, and one granddaughter, Connie Ruth Magouyrk. Ruth is survived by son, Lester (Dru) Zornes; daughters, Karen (Jim) Jividen, Sharen Riley, Linda (Don) Magouyrk; 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and many other family and friends. TERRY THACKER Terry Thacker, age 66, a 40-year resident of the Topock/Bullhead City area, passed away Friday, April 22, 2011, in Bullhead City, Ariz., after losing her battle with COPD. Terry, a realtor, was born November 16, 1944, in California, and she was the oldest of nine brothers and sisters. She enjoyed fishing, playing pool, and horse back riding. She was a beautiful person inside and out and will truly be missed. Love you! Terry was preceded in death by her daughter, Tracie Thacker, as well as her mother, father, and two brothers. Terry is survived by her son, Kenny Thacker of Bullhead City; and three daughters, Alisha Jones of Houston, Texas, and Brandie Munro and Shawnna Thacker of Bullhead City. THERESA M. SCHMIDT Theresa M. Schmidt, age 74, a 20-year resident of Bullhead City, Ariz., died Monday, April 18, 2011, in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. Theresa was born April 6, 1937, in Philadelphia, Pa. She worked for the River Palms for 15 years and also the Bullhead City Elementary School District. She was preceded in death by her husband, John O. Schmidt; parents, Margaret and Francis; and two brothers, Thomas and Ron Mann. Theresa is survived by four daughters, Colleen (Tom) Poulson from Lansdale, Pa., Kelly Ann Parker from Santee, Calif., Maureen (Quint) Ullrich from Tarzana, Calif. and Heather Schmidt from Bullhead City; one son, Paul (Therese) Lewis from Las Vegas, Nev.; three brothers and one sister; seven grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 6, 2011, at Spirit Life Church, 2850 Silver Creek Road, Bullhead City, Pastor Tim Odom will officiate.
